We re-establish vegetation in areas that have been degraded or destroyed through integration of baseline data collected at the project components and environs pre clearance vegetation in the habitat. It aims to restore ecosystem functions, improve soil health, and increase biodiversity. This can involve planting native species, controlling invasive species, and managing soil erosion. This is achieved though;

• Collection, interim care and transplanting of vegetation from the nearest neighbour, setting nurseries with similar species to those in the baseline information.
• Post planting monitoring, to identify and manage outstanding or re-current constraints.
• Caring for the restored areas until it is regenerated and well established; maintenance (management of invasive plant species),
• Management of stakeholder priorities as per the project restoration strategy .
